It must be strange to have a last name which is also the name of a famous company. You are Mr. Suzuki, or Ms Ford and you turn on the tv and low and behold there is you name in a commercial. I am sure that if I ever saw or heard my quite rare last name on TV I would pause and take careful note. I would probably stare intently at the screen with my mouth half open in astonishment. Do the Duponts of this world have goose bumps when ever they see their last name on TV?

Why on earth do they use roman numbers for indicating when an American film was made? You know, at the end of a movie,( I think this is especially true for old movies....) when they are running the credits they will show you these roman numbers which you have a very short time to decipher in order to know when the film was produced. Now I can do this detective work if I have about 10 seconds. Unfortunately the numbers usually only appear on the screen for about 5 seconds......... Does anyone out there know how this custom got started? I mean the first American film to use roman numbers was not filmed in Italy during the heyday of the Roman Empire.........
