"The presence of foreign fighters will no longer be tolerated."

If you listen to the radio for just a short time you are bound to hear the most utter nonsense. The other day I was listening to NPR ( National Petroleum Radio) and some "journalist" was reporting on some recent episode of the Great Oil War. He said that "a large Iraqi army force supported by coalition members were fighting the insurgents near the Syrian border." Translated from newspeak into english this means that thousands of U.S. soldiers assisted by 2 or 3 Iraqis were fighting the insurgents near the Syrian border. He then went on to say that according to " a high level US source"( such a source being of course tantamount to god.) many of the insurgents were foreigners. After that the "journalist" ended his report with a truly surreal statement. Keep in mind that this statement expressed the "journalist's" opinion. It was not a quote from the forementioned high level US source. The "journalist" concluded with this gem: "The presense of foreign fighters will no longer be tolerated."
